Meet the team

Through ControlSolid, Kelvin provides virtual and fractional CISO services and security advisory, helping leaders turn security strategy, governance and risk priorities into prioritized roadmaps.

Kelvin began his career with the U.S. Navy. Previously, he was an AWS Senior Security Engineer & Global Program Owner and served as Security Manager at Trustwave. His technical background spans cloud, application and payment security.

Roberto brings more than a decade of offensive security and security engineering experience in U.S. federal and defense environments. He has led penetration tests across Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Airspace System networks, applications and industrial control systems (ICS/SCADA) infrastructure, and ran red team and adversarial assessments, including serving as the opposing force in Cyber Table Top exercises, at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division.

His earlier work as a Navy hardware and embedded security engineer gives him rare depth in hardware, firmware and ICS testing. Roberto is a licensed Professional Engineer, holds a BS in Electrical Engineering (magna cum laude) from the University of Puerto Rico, and is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Michael brings a decade of data and cloud engineering experience in regulated industries, including healthcare and financial services. At Janus Henderson Investors he led the move of legacy on-premise trading infrastructure to AWS and built high-performance Snowflake data pipelines. At Centene, one of the nation's largest Medicaid and Medicare managed care organizations, he directed an enterprise analytics platform spanning Snowflake, Oracle and Teradata, modernized with CI/CD automation.

Earlier roles at Anheuser-Busch, Goldman Sachs and BNY Mellon included a national partner portal rollout on Microsoft Azure and KYC and anti-money-laundering due diligence. Michael is also the founder of Syfer Labs, a custom software and hardware firm, and works professionally in English, Spanish and French.
